Synopsis
In flashbacks, the family joins a cosmic cult that promises salvation on Jupiter. The past reveals their struggles, and their teenage daughter must choose between following her parents into the cult or forging her own path on Earth.

“Jupiter” is a meticulously crafted film that manages to immerse us in the inner world of a teenage girl who is confronted not only with the problems of insecurity, but also with the difficulties of her disabled younger brother and the madness of her parents. In the discussion after the film, I was struck by the fact that the first comment was one of empathy for the parents.
I even noticed that many adults are no longer helpless
I had to object that in the madness and horror of the world, children are tragically and inexplicably ignored. The director insisted that they needed to be reintegrated into a “good democratic society” and that they didn’t even realize their terrible actions (they had good intentions).
It won the YOUTH JURY PRIZE at the Sofia Film Festival for a film in international competition
Nevertheless, his film feels like an autopsy on the vulnerability of adults in trouble, but also an ode to children. P.S.
