Synopsis

1.13 (2024). I’m French and I’ll be the first to say that " All the movies from France are so bad that they can’t and totally fail to make a great movie… It’s only every 10 years that we get to see a good movie from France…
so much to the main character’s journey, after every moment you keep your eyes on the screen this is what you want to know, crazy!
To be able to make a great film from the cinema was everything and I am so proud as a Frenchman to say that finally a French film is a masterpiece !!!!First of all, the main story it' great, everyone can watch this movie, it is for all audience, kids, teenagers, adults, elderly people… the adaptation of the novel is really well done and it’s not easy especially when such big fans from the books expect a lot from the movie !!!But the script so beautiful, 3 hours of the movie was not long at all, I really didn’t want the movie to end. The story of the character of Monte Cristo is so beautiful and moving and throughout the movie you look at his story, it is so passionate and for 3 hours it is perfect to discover the hole (beginning of life, betrayal).

I’m not that much of a fan of his but he played his bad character perfectly, I hope they both win a César at the end of the year for actors !!!The direction and the director’s cinematography were so great that we don’t have such direction in France and both directors showed us that we can . that even if we don’t have the same Hollywood budget, the shots were very beautiful !!!
This movie is from France, it’s a masterpiece, if you don’t #39;don’t like it, you don’t like cinema, sorry!
Finally, the soundtrack, the make-up and the different costumes worn by the actors were great, all these things were perfect, thanks to the people who worked on it. There are so many things to say about each thing but it’s ok and tomorrow I will still be here to say a great thing about each feature !!!The setting of the movie was also great and finally 43 million budget ?!??!!?? excuse me But the movie looks like a budget of 100 million, it shows again why this movie is a masterpiece, creating great shots with great scenery with a movie in 3 hours with a budget of only 43 is incredible and I don’t think people know that it’s crazy !!!
