Synopsis
Star Trek: Lower Decks follows a support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the USS Cerritos, in the year 2380. Ensigns Mariner, Beumler, Rutherford and Tandy must cope with their duties and lead a social life, often while the ship is shaken by many science fiction anomalies. The ship’s bridge crew includes Captain Carol Freeman, Commander Jack Ransom, Lieutenant Shax, and Dr. T’Anna. This is the second animated spin-off of the franchise after Star Trek: The Animated Series in 1973-74. but has a much more mature tone and humor.
